Product Description

Marqués de Tosos is born in 1984, a brand of vintage wines with a presence in 18 different countries. Coming from Monte Alcañiz vineyards, terroir also known as Dehesa de la Marquesa, these wines are characterized by its high expression, given by the strong temperature contrasts from this terroir.
Marquis history goes back to 1702, when the king Felipe V honoured Mr. Juan Ulzurrum de Asanza with the title of Count or Marquis of Aragón, under the name Marqués de Tosos, referring to the town with the same name located in Cariñena countryside.

Attractive cherry coloured with ruby and russet hues. Well intense and deep aromas, standing out hardwoods, roasted and vanilla. Tasty and well balanced with fine tannins on the palate, giving it roundness. A lingering, ample and well structured finish. Serving temperature: 18º – 19º C Pairing: it goes well with red meat, stews, roasts and barbecues.
Maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at a monitored temperature of 26ºC-28ºC. Aged 14 months in American oak barrels and 24 months in bottles.
